PROCUREMENT & IMPORT

Sourcing and import

We manage the entire deal: price quotes, communication with the supplier, ordering, tracking, shipping, customs and delivery to your warehouse.

to the pallet in your warehouse

You get one point of contact who manages the entire chain. Every step is documented and every update reaches you, with no chasing suppliers, forwarders and brokers.

Division of work

What you do, and what we do

You make the decisions. We manage everything else.

  • 01Define the product, quantities and target price
  • 02Approve the supplier and quote
  • 03Receive the goods at your warehouse

Roughly a handful of calls and decisions throughout the process.

  • Purchase order and written terms
  • Production tracking and updates
  • Pre-shipment quality control
  • Choose shipping method and book space
  • Cargo insurance
  • Check standards requirements
  • Documents and customs clearance
  • Local delivery to your door

Shipping methods

Sea, air or courier? We compare before deciding

There is no single right method. The choice depends on quantity, urgency, the value of the goods and budget, and we recommend the combination that suits the specific order.

Sea freight

Full container (FCL)

Large quantities that fill a container, or goods better shipped separately.

Speed
Relative cost

Estimated time*About 4–7 weeks

  • Lowest cost per unit on large quantities
  • The container is sealed at the factory and opened at your site
  • Suited to heavy and bulky goods
  • Long transit time
  • Cost-effective only above a certain volume

Sea freight

Less than container load (LCL)

Small and medium quantities that don't fill a whole container.

Speed
Relative cost

Estimated time*About 5–8 weeks

  • You pay only for your volume
  • Allows ordering smaller quantities
  • Flexibility in order frequency
  • Consolidation and deconsolidation at warehouses add time
  • More handling, so good packaging matters

Air freight

Air cargo

Urgent or high-value goods, or goods that are light relative to their volume.

Speed
Relative cost

Estimated time*About 5–10 days

  • Significantly faster than sea freight
  • Suited to sensitive or expensive goods
  • Less time with the goods in transit
  • High cost by weight and volume
  • Restrictions on certain cargo types

Couriers

International courier

Samples, spare parts and small shipments that need to arrive quickly.

Speed
Relative cost

Estimated time*About 3–7 business days

  • Door to door, with tracking
  • Minimal effort on your side
  • Suited to samples before ordering
  • Highest cost per unit
  • Suitable only for small shipments

* General estimate only, from the moment the goods ship until they arrive. Actual time depends on the country of origin, the season, space availability and customs clearance, and we'll update you with a timeline for each order.

Cost transparency

What a "door-to-door"
quote includes

Before every order, you'll receive a quote that breaks the final cost into components, so you know what the product really costs you when it reaches your warehouse, and not just what it costs at the factory.

01 / 07

Product price

The price of the goods at the supplier, based on the quantity and delivery terms agreed in the order.

Illustration only: the width of the segments does not represent a price or percentage. The cost breakdown varies from product to product and order to order.

A team inspecting a shipment at the warehouse

We inspect before you pay, and before the goods ship.

Risk reduction

How we reduce risk on every order

Most import problems can be prevented up front: through inspection, terms and documents. That's where we focus most of our attention.

Pre-shipment quality control

We inspect the goods at the factory, before the final payment and before they ship.

  • Inspection against the specification and the approved sample
  • Photo documentation and a structured report
  • Resolving gaps with the supplier before shipping

Payment terms

A payment structure that protects you, instead of paying everything upfront.

  • A deposit, with the balance after the quality inspection
  • Documented payment methods
  • Clear written terms in the order

Documents

Every document in place and on time, so the goods don't get stuck at the port.

  • Invoice and packing list
  • Bill of lading and certificate of origin as needed
  • Standards approvals and insurance documents

FAQ

Questions about purchasing and import

Didn't find an answer? Write to us and we'll get back to you.

Do you have an order on the way or an existing supplier? Tell us where you stand and we'll suggest how to proceed.

Talk to Us

Yes. You can come with an existing supplier, and we'll manage the purchasing, inspections, shipping and clearance, or just the stages where you need help.

Before work begins, you'll receive a structured quote. Our service fee appears in it as a separate line, alongside the other cost components.

With FCL the whole container is yours; with LCL your goods share a container with other shippers' cargo. LCL generally suits small quantities and FCL large ones, and we'll recommend based on your volume and order.

We coordinate the process with a customs broker, take care of the required documents and keep you updated until the goods are cleared and on their way to you.

It depends on the product type and its use. We check the requirements in advance, even before the order, so there are no surprises when the goods reach the port.

That's why we inspect before shipping. If gaps are found, we deal with them with the supplier while the goods are still at the factory: repair, replacement or adjusting the terms.
